Google Adsense URL channels allow you to track your earnings more efficiently. AdSense reporting features allow you to track the effectiveness of specific ads, pages, and domains. Regular Adsense channels allow you to track one or more ads, while the URL channel allows you to track the overall performance of specific parts of your websites.
Open your web browser and go to the Adsense website. Click My Ads at the top of the page.
Click the URL Channels link in the Content section. Click the New URL Channel button.
Enter the URL you want to track in the box that appears. Specify only one address per line. Typing a domain with no subdomain or pages will track revenue for the entire domain, for example entering http://mydomain.com it will also track revenue for www.mydomain.com and any added pages.
Click the Add URL Channel option after you have entered the domains. The performance of the URL channel can be seen in the Performance Report tab under the URL Channels link.
The domain-wide tracking does not show the details of the pages that are generating the clicks. You must crawl the individual pages to see the details. A good compromise for large sites that are divided into sections is to track each section separately as a channel URL.
